In their most successful season in over ten years, the Central women’s basketball team has a lot of positives to build on from this campaign. They played in a lot of close games, gave a top ten team a run for their money to close out the season, and they reached double digits in the win column for the first time since the 2003-04 season. For Coach Mike Jacobsma, ten wins is nice, but he’s not satisfied with it. Jacobsma will have several returning players that saw some starting time and significant action, including Bry Pierce, Kenzie Vander Molen, Rachel Evans, and Kalli Richardson just to name a few. Central finished the year with an overall 10 – 15 record.
