The Pleasantville Trojans were able to hold off the Saints of Melcher – Dallas, 62-52 to advance to the next round of District action. The Trojans went into the locker room up 14 but slowly allowed the Saints to close the gap to only four late in the fourth quarter. After Melcher-Dallas starters Chase and Clay Wetterling fouled out of the game, Pleasantville was able to hit a series of free throws to put the game away for good. After the game Head coach Tom Wilkins talked about the advantage of playing close games throughout the season. Trevor Zoss led all Trojans with 20 points on the night. Moulton-Udell beat Wayne 92 – 72 last night, and the Trojans will face them this coming Tuesday the 19th at 7:00 p.m.
