The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association gave Central College a No. 23 rank in the Division III men’s preseason poll. League rival, Wartburg, garnered the No. 14 spot. The Dutch just recently won the Iowa Conference indoor league championship and had a national top-10 finish, including a national win in the Heptathlon. The Central men’s and women’s teams will begin their outdoor season today, as they’ll host the Central Invitational at the Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium in Pella starting at noon.
