This year’s schedule and weather not as accommodating as it was this time last year, the Central softball team will take to the field in Oskaloosa this morning to play a doubleheader against visiting St. Scholastica of Minnesota. Associate coach, Alicia O’Brien says that she and Coach George Wares tell the team that you can’t make the weather work around the schedule, rather the schedule works around the weather, and her team is told to prepare whenever they may play a game. The 13 – 5 Dutch women will play a 6 – 6 Saints team at Oskaloosa’s field due to the unplayable conditions on Central’s home ball field. The first pitch of the first game of the twinbilling is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
