The winningest driver in the 360 ranks at the Knoxville Raceway is coming out of retirement to run full-time in the 410 class this season. David Hesmer last raced a sprint car in 2005, and will team up with Owner Bryan Sundby to race full time with the 410s this season. Hesmer, who has 65 360 wins at the Knoxville Raceway, says the timing is right and feels good physically and has his family’s full support. Hessmer in recent years has been seen in the pits helping out Sammy Swindell when the World of Outlaws would visit Knoxville. Hesmer will carry his familiar number one on the car this season.
