A couple weeks of practice gone by, and PCM head boys’ track and field coach, Greg Bonnett, is feeling pretty comfortable with who he has on the team to fill in the “field” portion of their events. The Mustangs’ head coach said that Glen Gillespie and Jackson Winegar would be two that could be considered “sure things” when it comes to filling up the throwing events. Bonnett also name-dropped Brandon Charles, who’s new to track, but has a lot of key qualities that could make him a weapon this year with some help from one of their expert coaches. Bonnett added that they are just about at the point where they know who their sprinters and distance runners will be, and they will have more of an idea once they’re able to get outside and do some time trials on their track. The PCM boys will open up their season on March 28 at Story City in a quad meet.
