Former Pleasantville Softball player Chelsea Thomas and her Missouri Softball Squad seem to be fitting into the Southeastern Conference very well. Thomas earned her third S-E-C Pitcher of the Week award this week after another week of stellar outings. Thomas threw a complete game in Mizzou’s win over Evansville on March 13th non-conference doubleheader striking out ten Purple Ace batters for her fourth game of the season with double-digit strikeouts. She earned all three wins in the Tigers’ three-game sweep at Mississippi last week striking out four batters in each game. The Tigers are currently 15-2 overall and 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference. They are in action this weekend hosting a non-conference series with Georgia Tech.
