Losing several seniors off the squad last year, the Pella Christian girls’ track team will have a lot of fresh faces to join the ranks of the experienced “veterans” this spring. With a few weeks of practice under their belt, head coach, Kevin Herdegen said that despite the numerous holes his seniors left him after graduating, his roster is full of talent waiting to get their feet wet. The Eagles’ girls will be heading to PCM to face the Mustangs, Centerville, Chariton, and Albia on March 26 to open up their season. Coach Herdegen said he’s looking forward to starting the season and getting outside for a change.
