With Easter approaching, the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville is hosting a special program Saturday. The Sheldon United Methodist Men will be recreating Di Vinci’s Last Supper painting. It’s called “Lord, is it I?” Each apostle, in turn, gives their thoughts and fears about Jesus states during the supper that one of them will betray him. There’s also music from a quartet called the Circuit Riders incorporated into the program. This is the 29th consecutive year that the Sheldon United Methodist Men have performed a living Last Supper, and the first time they’ve stopped in Knoxville. It begins at 7pm Saturday at First United Methodist Church. A free-will offering will be taken, with proceeds helping fund summer church camp scholarships at Lake Okoboji.
