As the first outdoor meet of the Knoxville Boys Track and Field season starts today, the Panthers are refining their high jump and long jump this season. Back are Little Hawkeye Conference Champion and State Qualifier Jacob Moats in the high jump, his best leap last season was six-feet two inches. Also a possible candidate that Coach Mike Cunningham the Second says has spring in his legs is Ryan Douglass, his best long jump last year was 20 feet nine and three/quarters inches. Cunningham adds there are other jumpers that can get into the mix, and he hopes better weather will allow them to get outside and actually practice. The Panthers travel to Indianola for the Simpson College High School Invitational.
