Senator Amy Sinclair tells KNIA/KRLS News she generally likes what Governor Terry Branstad’s property tax reform plan. That includes a 20 percent roll-back on commercial and industrial properties that’s backfilled for local governments. She does have concerns about the back-fill eroding, but says that’s why she hopes there will be some tweaks. Sinclair adds that there will likely be a compromise between that plan and the plan from Senate Democrats.
