As previously reported, there was a rollover on Highway 163 near Pella in the early morning hours on Monday. At around 1am, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle rollover accident, approximately 2 miles west of Pella on Highway 163. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies, Pella Police Department, Pella Ambulance, and Pella Fire Department responded to the scene. The investigation showed Aung Myint, of Marshalltown, was headed westbound on Hwy. 163 when he lost control of his 2000 Mazda Van, due to weather related conditions. All six occupants of the vehicles were transported to the Pella Regional Health Center and treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
