The Twin Cedars’ girls’ track team got their season underway at Centerville on Thursday with a fourth place finish. Davis County came in first while the host Big Red finished second. Coach Jesse DeGeest said that Ayla Crosby looked strong in their first meet; finishing second in the 100 and 200 meter dash. His girls also recorded a second place finish in the shuttle hurdle relay with a time if just over 1:16. In the field events, Kenzie McCarty came in fourth place in the shot put and discus. Twin Cedars is next in action on Tuesday at Davis County.
