More of the county has fallen back into the moderate drought designation after all but the far north of the county was listed as only abnormally dry last week. Just over half of the county is now abnormally dry. Statewide the drought is beginning to break. In the far southeast normal soil moisture conditions have started to emerge, with places in the far northwest still in extreme drought conditions.
