Twin Cedars’ girls’ track gets underway this afternoon as the Sabers will be heading to Centerville for an outdoor meet. The meet was originally scheduled to be in Osceola, but because their track was not ready, they decided to move it to Centerville. Head coach, Jesse DeGeest said that none of the meets really stand out to him and he’s more concerned about the girls bringing 100% of their game to every meet rather than for just one of them.
“I know that obviously the conference track meet does, just because we’d like to win that, and it looks good for the school,” DeGeest said. “Other than that, obviously the first one does kind of give us a baseline of where we need to go from there, but I think that just like in any other sport, as long as the girls bring it every day, I think they’ll be okay.”
This evening’s meet in Centerville is scheduled to get underway at 4:30 p.m.
