There are really only two things you can do when cold weather prevents you from getting a lot of work done on the golf course: sit and sulk about it or look at the positives. Pella Christian head boys’ golf coach, Jim Dingeman is choosing to do the latter. He says that the weather is a benefit, because he has so many returners back from last year, that his varsity squad is practically spoken for, so there’s not a battle for the top spots. Dingeman went on to say that he’s just waiting for guys to step up into the sixth spot and to the fill JV squad. He’s also curious to see what kind of depth he has. However, Dingeman did stress how antsy his golfers are to get outside and to get playing. The Eagles’ boys are scheduled to have a meet on Thursday which, at the moment, has not been postponed or cancelled. The dual takes place at Norwalk at 9:00 a.m.
