A notable county bridge was washed away by flood waters this month. As White Breast Creek waters receded southwest of Knoxville, local residents discovered that the 92nd Avenue bridge was gone. The bridge had been closed for traffic for some time and was the subject of an In-Depth feature with Dr. Bob Leonard upon its closing. Officials at the Engineer’s Office say it appears that there isn’t much debris left either. High water levels have kept them from gathering further information.
