A 32-year-old school record fell Thursday in the not-often-ran 4 x 1600 meter relay. Drew Jackson, Kyle Nuehring, Cole Decker and Eli Horton finished sixth with at time of 17:17, which was six seconds faster than the previous mark set all the way back in 1981. Eric Larson also set a lifetime best in the decathlon and finished eighth overall, but first among Division III competitors. Central will be running this morning in a pair of 4 x 100 meter relays a little before 9:00 a.m.
