With the coveted Drake Relays looming later on next week, teams and athletes alike are scrambling to get their times, distances and heights qualified for the illustrious event. The Pella boys’ and girls’ track teams will have another opportunity to perhaps qualify for the Relays tonight when the Little Dutch head to Waukee High for a meet, and the girls will be in Newton. Each team looked very strong once again on Monday in their meets, recording some personal bests on en route to team victories. The Blue Oval will once again be surrounded by track fans and parents next Thursday the 25th, and both of Pella’s meets get going this afternoon at 4:30.
