Just another successful day on the tennis courts for Danielle Stubbs and her Pella Christian Eagles, as they were able to beat Norwalk in a meet yesterday, 8 – 3. Norwalk did make it close after the singles’ matches, as the Eagles only had a 4 – 2 advantage, but their top four doubles teams saved the day and made quick work of the Warriors to secure the meet victory. Coach Stubbs told KNIA/KRLS Sports that she was proud of her girls and the number of strong points that they won over the course of the day. Stubbs also added that their doubles matches are continuing to improve as the girls are getting more and more confident and aggressive at the net. Pella Christian’s girls will next play on Monday at home against Knoxville.
