The Knoxville School District has once again received an unqualified opinion on their audit report. Unqualified is the best designation given in an audit report, reflecting that the School District’s books give a true and fair view of their financials. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says Business Manager Craig Mobley works very to ensure business procedures are as they should be. Flack adds the solvency ratio is back above seven percent this year. He cites this as a reflection of the hard work the administration and School Board have done in reducing expenditures and ensuring those expenditures stay in line with revenues.
