The Knoxville Girls Tennis Squad earned a hard-fought 6-5 win over Pella yesterday at the Joel Tonda Tennis Courts. Knoxville won three singles matches and clinched the meet by winning three of five doubles matches. Pella kept fighting taking two of the doubles matches to three sets, ultimately splitting those matches. Singles winners for the Panthers were: Shamene Norman, Taylor Carter, and Madison Chrisman. Coach Nick DeMoss says with a little more experience on his side this season, he hopes the girls can compete better in dual meets in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Winning singles matches for Pella were: Morgan Ernst, Sami Wassenaar, and Bri Buzick.
