Fourteen strokes was the difference on a chilly evening, as the PCM girls’ golf team was able to hold of Pella Christian on Monday. Maddie Peters of the Mustangs was the meet medalist with a nine-hold round of 42, and not too far behind was Autumn Vos of the Eagles for the runner-up spot, shooting a career-best 46. The Eagles’ girls will be at home for a meet against Oskaloosa today, and Coach Larry Hessing says he’s trying to recruit more schools to join them out on the course for some competition. The girls are scheduled to tee off at 4:15 p.m.
