Little Dutch Tie Season Lows in Golf Meet Victories

Sophomores stole the show for Pella boys’ golf coach, Bob Fessler, yesterday in Oskaloosa, winning their meet by 16 strokes. Pella collectively shot 153, Grinnell was second with a 169, and the host Indians totaled 174. Sophomore Corey Elliott was medalist on the day with a round of 36, while three other members of the Little Dutch were runners-up; Sean Rennich (Rennick, rhymes with Kinnick), Colton Bradley, and Jack Meyer each shot a 39. Pella has an overall record now of 22 – 1 and are a perfect 4 – 0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, and they have a week of rest before their next meet again at Edmundson Golf Course this Tuesday in Oskaloosa.
