Trying to compete with the numbers game, the Melcher-Dallas track teams showed some strength in the longer distances on Friday at the Meskwaki High School “Warriors Relay.” On the girls’ side of things, Hannah Wilson led the way for her Saints, with a pair of third place finishes in both the 1500 and 3000 meter runs. Cody Alexander had a phenomenal evening; recording a win in the 400 meters and a second place finish in the 800. Ross Dawson also came in second in the men’s discus. A full list of results can be found below. Both Saints’ track teams are in action on Tuesday; the girls will head to East Union while the boys will compete in Chariton.
