What was hoped to be the sound of sprint cars roaring around the Knoxville Raceway tonight for practice night has been tempered by weather. Raceway officials postponed tonight’s hot laps until next Friday due to wet conditions and the predicted cold temperatures tonight. That means many of the weekly drivers will practice next Friday and then raced for real at next Saturday’s scheduled season opener. Friday’s practice night will start at seven and is free of charge.
