Melcher-Dallas’ golf teams also were able to get nine-holes in yesterday at The Preserve in a meet rescheduled from April 12. The Saints’ boys finished third to Albia and Moravia with a 228. Senior Matt Johnson led his team with a round of 48, while Clay Wetterling shot a 56. The girls faired a tad better; finishing second to Albia with a round of 269. Freshman Jessica Anderson was the high point for her team with her round of 55, while Kirsten Mull, another freshman, was second with a 67. Both Saints’ squads are back at it today at the same golf course, with action slated to get teed off at 4:00 p.m.
