Ten schools, including Knoxville, Pella, Pella Christian and PCM, will be represented at Edmundson Park for a girls’ golf meet today in Oskaloosa. Because of the size of the tournament, Pella head coach, Wade Van Vark says that his girls will not be focused on beating their competition, but rather the course. Van Vark also said that a big positive of these bigger meets is the relationships that his golfers come away with after the day of competition is over. If the rain stays away and the course is deemed playable, today’s congregation of girls’ golfers will tee off at 2:00 p.m.
