The Knoxville Softball Squad has not played in seven days, which is unusual for any softball team. But with the schedule and a tournament that was rained out last Saturday, the Panthers last game was a week ago tonight against Clarke. Knoxville will take on Eddyville-Blakesburg which will become a conference game when the Panthers join the South Central Conference in 2014. Coach Steph Christner says the girls need to improve every time they hit the field whether it is practice or games, and they need to start hitting better. Christner adds some of the girls are showing improvement at the plate, but the entire batting order needs to get better. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live on starting with the pre game at 7:15.
