Centerville took out Knoxville in the first round of the Class two-A boy’s soccer sub state last night 4-1. The Panthers scored just three minutes into the match as Matt Smith nailed a hedder, but it was all Big Reds after that tallying the four goals in the final 37 minutes of the first half. The Panthers had other chances to score, but Coach Dylan Mick said missed opportunities did in his team. Mick added the effort last night was again good for his team. He said effort was never an issue with this team. Knoxville finishes the season with a 7-8 record.
