Rain or shine, today Pella will welcome the 20th Tulip Time Klompen Classic, a 5K road race and a 5K walk. The race occurs annually on the eve of Tulip Time. Over 2,100 registrations have been received. Registration and race packages may be picked up from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m. The Kids Classic begins at 6:00 p.m., and the race starts at 7p.m. from the corner of Main and Washington. Race organizers appreciate the courtesy of local commuters.
