Another game, another shutout for Pella High girls’ soccer on Tuesday, as a physical Norwalk squad could not handle the sound skills of the Lady Dutch, 4 – 0. Gabi Meirick scored her seventh and eighth goals of the season en route to Pella’s seventh straight win and seventh consecutive shutout. Coach Mark Howard said after the game that opponents often underestimate the strength and physicality of his girls. Howard also talked about the resiliency of his girls. The Lady Dutch are now 10 – 1 on the season, and will play at home on Saturday next against A-D-M.
