The Saints and Sabers can count on a bus trip to Des Moines later this week, as several Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars athletes made it to the Class 1A state track meet starting on Thursday. For the boys, Cody Alexander for the Saints will race in the 400 meter dash and in the 800 meter run, and Ross Dawson will compete in the discus throw. Melcher-Dallas will also be racing in the 4 x 400 meter relay. Twin Cedars’ Corey Harrell will also be throwing the shot put, while the Sabers’ girls will compete in the shuttle hurdle relay.
