PCM track heads to Newton for a meet, while the girls’ soccer team stays home tonight to play Gilbert in a Heart of Iowa Conference showdown. The Mustangs’ girls’ track team is coming off a decent showing at the Drake Relays this past week; finishing 65th overall in the 4 x 100 meter relay with a time of just under 53 seconds. Pleasantville’s boys’ and girls’ track teams will also be in attendance on the Cardinals’ track. Meanwhile, the girls’ soccer team at PCM has only played a total of five games so far this year, and will be playing a total of nine games over the next three weeks, starting with Gilbert later tonight. The Mustangs last played Friday when they demolished C-M-B, 7 – 1. Krisha Houseman had a hat trick in that game and Coach Craig Naeve (Knave) is hoping for an equally strong offensive effort out of his team tonight. The track meets start at 4:30 p.m. and the soccer match will start on the pitch with the varsity game first at 5:30 p.m.
