Whether it’s a good or bad thing is up to you, but the PCM boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will head to the pitch later today for a pair of games on the road in two different locales. The girls will head to Des Moines Hoover for their game, while the boys are at Bondurant-Farrar. The Mustangs’ girls are 3 – 2 at this point in the season, and are facing a 4 – 5 Huskies team that just snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5 – 0 win over Ottumwa on Monday. PCM’s boys haven’t played in a week, when they dropped a 6 – 1 contest to Albia. The Bluejays are 4 – 3 – 1 and riding a three-game win streak. Tanner Jensen leads the way for Bondurant-Farrar with five goals on the season and one assist. The girls’ varsity match starts at 5:30 p.m. and the boys play at 6:30 p.m.
