A trio of top five finishes and a new school record allowed the Pella girls’ track team to propel into tenth place overall in the team standings in the Class 3A State Track Meet. The Lady Dutch opened the day with a third place overall finish in the sprint medley relay, clocking in at just over 1:51. Next, was the 4 x 100 meter relay, which resulted in a fourth place finish and a time of 50.53 seconds. The Pella High girls saved their best performance for last on Saturday, coming in second place and setting a new school record in the 4 x 400 meter relay, crossing the line at 3:58.82. The Lady Dutch wound up with 25.5 points, putting them alone in tenth place as a team.
