Melcher-Dallas’ boys’ and girls’ golf teams each placed third at their meet at Honey Creek Golf Course. The boys were just seven strokes off of first place Davis County, who shot a 187. Senior Clay Wetterling was the low scorer on the night for the Saints with a round of 45, and Matt Johnson was second with a 48. The Saints’ girls shot a 270, also third to Davis County who had a 229. Freshman Kirsten Mull had the low score with a 57, and Kaylee Houston was next lowest for Melcher-Dallas with her nine-hole round of 69. Melcher-Dallas will play the Trojans on Thursday at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
