Pleasantville Native Chelsea Thomas has won almost has many awards during her one season the Southeastern Conference play for the Missouri Softball program as she did in four seasons in the Big 12 Conference. The fifth year senior received her third conference pitcher of the year and first in the S-E-C this week. Thomas has dominated the pitching stats this season leading the conference in wins with 13. She also led the conference in strikeouts with 117…and limited opposing batters to just a 117 average. Up next for Thomas is the S-E-C Tournament this week and a first round game with Arkansas. While the conference title would be a nice thing…Thomas says her dream since she arrived at Missouri is winning a national championship. Thomas adds if that national title does not occur…she will not have any regrets. She says her five years at Missouri has been the most enjoyable time of her life.
