An estimated 50-60 410 sprint cars could be in the pits tonight at the Knoxville Raceway. Along with the 30 or so weekly drivers, add in 10-15 World of Outlaws Series pilots, and some “true outlaws,” and a few surprise appearances and may have a whose, who of sprint car racing at the half-mile tonight. Daryn Pittman will come in as the Outlaws points leader however Tim Kaeding and Kerry Madsen may be the hottest drivers. Madsen won last week’s show at Eldora and came off a top ten finish last night in Elko, Minnesota, while Kaeding won his fourth A-Main of the season. Some of the already confirmed “visitors” that have been confirmed are: last year’s Rookie of the Nationals and current NASCAR Nationwide Driver Kyle Larson, Danny Lasoski who is just two wins away from 100 career wins at Knoxville, and 360 hot shoe Jason Johnson.
