With Pella Christian’s games versus Knoxville getting rained out, the Eagles turn their attention to a pair of tournaments today, hoping to get some games in, as more rain is in the forecast. The Eagles’ softball team will head to Oskaloosa for their mini-tournament to play Centerville and PCM, and Coach Nate Van Wyk says that the element of surprise with what each of their opponents brings to the table just means that his girls will need to go out and play their own style. Pella Christian baseball will host their tournament, and are welcoming Pleasantville, Bondurant-Farrar and Eddyville-Blakesburg into town. The Oskaloosa tournament starts at around 9:00 a.m. while the Pella Christian baseball tourney begins at ten this morning. Just some information for those wondering, the Knoxville vs. Pella Christian baseball doubleheader has been moved to this Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. and the varsity doubleheader between the two schools on the softball diamond is now on July 5 at 5:30.
