In what was described by many drivers as the raciest track of the season, the Knoxville Raceway put on three of the best races of the season. Larry Ball Jr. claimed the 305 A-Main with J Kinder in second place, however it was Josh Higday who outran Chris Walraven to the line for third that got the crown in their feet. The great racing did not stop in the 360s as Clint Garner pulled away from Jamie Ball to win back-to-back races, however Australia’s Jamie Veal had to hold off Jon Agan for the final podium spot. The 410 finale was even better as Mark Dobmeier slid by Danny Lasoski with three laps to go, and held off Knoxville winningest driver by just a couple of car lengths. Next Saturday becomes one of the biggest nights for the 360 drivers as it is Twin Features night…which means double the points.
