An opportunity to see wildlife up close from a kayak is available tomorrow morning when Dr. Jim Pease leads a river critters expedition. Join Dr. Pease, wildlife and interpretive specialist, for a paddling tour to find birds, mammals, trees, shrubs and help you understand them and their relationship with the river. Depending on conditions, participants will paddle one to three hours, stopping frequently to watch and learn what the river has to teach us. Pre-registration is required, and you must be at least 16 years old to borrow kayak. The event begins at 9am at Roberts Creek.
