A Knoxville man is being recognized with the Governor’s Volunteer Award this week. David Hoke will be among those honored Thursday in a ceremony in Pleasant Hill. Knoxville High School Principal Kevin Crawford says Hoke helps numerous organizations in the community with his expertise. Crawford says he’s not sure how he would get everything done in May if Hoke didn’t take the lead on organizing and printing the program for the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship night. Crawford adds that Hoke’s drive to complete tasks on a timely basis and his attention to detail is hard to match.
