The Pella Christian baseball team’s offense has went stagnant lately, and their woes continued last night against Carlisle in a 9 – 0 loss. The Eagles could only muster four hits against the Wildcats; Spencer Fynaardt had one, Dillon Branderhorst had two, and Jason Holwerda had the fourth. The Eagles drop to 5 – 7 on the season, and they will have a tough task tonight against Norwalk who enter play tonight with a 10 – 3 record and are undefeated in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Eagles’ softball team will be joining the guys in hosting the Warriors tonight, who have won their last 13 contests and are 14 – 1 overall this season. Coach Nate Van Wyk said that yesterday’s practice was spent fine tuning some minor things. The varsity games tonight between Pella Christian and Norwalk are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
