The Knoxville Softball Squad dropped two games to Norwalk. In the first game, the Panthers were limited to just one hit and fell 3-0. Emily Wallace took the loss going the distance surrendering three runs on nine hits, one walk and no strikeouts. In the nightcap, the Panthers actually jumped out to an early lead but errors allowed Norwalk to climb back in and eventually win 12-7. Shaye Nichols went 2/4 to lead Knoxville offensively. Lucy Olson went 1/3 with two R-B-I. Wallace went 4 2/3 innings giving up 11 runs on ten hits, two walks and one strikeout. Delaynne South pitched the last 2 1/3 innings in relief. Knoxville is now 2-6 on the season and falls to 1-2o in the conference. The Panthers travel to Centerville tonight.
