The Pella High softball team fought hard, but fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg last night, 5 – 2. Bri Arkema took the loss, giving up 11 hits in the game, while the Lady Dutch were able to rack up seven. Allie DeMeulenaere had three of those seven hits and swiped a pair of bases and scored a run to highlight the offense for Pella, who fall to 1 – 3 on the season. Pella will be in Oskaloosa for a tournament later this morning.
