With a good weather forecast, the Knoxville Softball Squad will finally get to play a game today after over a week away. The Panthers’ scheduled game with Eddyville-Blakesburg was cancelled due to rain on Thursday and Knoxville has not played since a 10-0 loss to Clarke last Thursday. Coach Steph Christner says it is not all bad that the girls were away from game situations, since they were able to practice and work on several areas. Christner adds the girls have practiced well this week and she is seeing progress. Knoxville will play Lynnville-Sully and Eddyville-Blakesburg today at the Oskaloosa Invitational.
