Twin Cedars pounded out the hits in a pair of wins over Moravia on Friday night. Brittney Roby earned the win on the mound in the softball contest and the Sabers blasted their opponents 12 – 4. Roby also went 3-for-5 at the plate with a triple and three runs scored, Ayla Crosby drove in three runs with three hits, and Bailey Stone hit a two-run jack in the first. Sabers’ baseball played just four innings but scored 19 runs while shutting out Moravia in their game. Coy Moore went 4-for-5 with two RBI’s and was just a home run short of hitting for the cycle. Hunter Embray and Corey Harrell combined to go 4-for-5 with six RBI’s, a home run for Harrell, and five runs scored. The Sabers’ baseball team improves to 19 – 1, softball is now 18 – 6, and both teams will come home to host a tournament later today.
