If the baseball Panthers have a tough week, quite possibly the toughest softball schedule in the state, may get even more difficult with Knoxville playing six games in five days this week. The Panthers start off hosting Newton in a varsity double header tomorrow, then travel to Chariton on Tuesday, home to Norwalk on Wednesday, and then round out the week at Pella or another varsity twin bill. Coach Steph Chrsitner says one thing the outfielders are working on, is judging the fly ball’s trajectory. She says she has had to pull out her geometry book to show the girls how to judge a fly ball. She adds the ball almost always comes at them on an arch, and they need to learn how to judge the ball and not overrun it. Knoxville is 6-10 on the season and 3-4 in the Little Hawkeye Conference
