Melcher-Dallas’ ball clubs made short work of Seymour last night in a pair of games. The baseball squad won in four innings, 15 – 0. Kenneth Wadle threw a one-hitter for the club and went 4-for-4 at the plate with three doubles. Alex Mitchell was also 4-for-4 and Troy Lee added three hits. Saints’ softball also sent the fans home early, winning 10 – 0 in five. Melcher-Dallas baseball is now 4 – 8, the softball team improves to 12 – 9. The baseball team will host Murray and Saints’ softball welcomes Lamoni into town for their games later today.
